DEBORAH SORENSEN at
WILDWOOD STUDIO
WELCOME! THANKS FOR
GETTING TO KNOW US
Drawing influence from several musical genres, my musical collaborators and I create a unique sound that your audience will love.
WILDWOOD STUDIO
WE USE ALL OF THE FREQUENCIES
The studio at Wildwood has enjoyed a decades long history of recording and rehearsing with the area’s finest musicians. If these walls could talk – what a story they would tell.
Currently Wildwood is the place for original composition, arranging and continuous rehearsals. The studio has also been “home” for countless students over the years and many of them have moved on to musical careers of their own.
Nothing has slowed down and I am looking forward to sharing the new music and introducing you to my family of musicians.
Welcome to the official website of Deborah Sorensen, a performing musician who has enriched the western New York region for many years. As a solo artist, bandleader and collaborator, Deborah brings a versatile blend of jazz, fusion, pop, blues and light classical music to diverse audiences.
Deborah was a featured artist for WXXI’s Sounds of the City and WGMC. Performances span countless festivals, clubs and private events.
In 2011, the release of the original music compilation “Anadrome” offered listeners a unique musical experience. Deborah has shared her expertise as an instructor at Genesee Community College and Empire University, in addition to nurturing talent in her private studio. Since 2001, serving as Music Director for The City Church in Batavia has provided a fulfilling avenue for musical expression and community engagement.
An ongoing passion for musical exploration has led to the study of harp and more recently the role of bassist in various ensembles.
